Fourth Five year Plan
1. The period of the fourth five year plan was 1969-74.
    The two main objective of the plan
    were 'Growth with stability' and progressive achievement of self-reliance
     Establishment of social order was specially aimed in this Plan

2. This plan failed to achieve its annual growth target.The shortfall in
   the growth target was
   due to the adversity of climate and arrival of refuges
   Bangaladesh...

Fifth five year plan
1.The fifth five year plan was originally for the period of 1974-79 but
  it was terminated.
   one year earlier by janata Government in 1978
  The twomain objective of the plan were Poverty eradications and
   attainment of self-reliance.
' 20-point programme (1975) had been implemented dring the plan.
   Agriculture was given the
   top priority and then came the number of industry and mines

2.Initially, the targeted annual growth rate was set at 5.5% but later on
  it was reduced to
  4.4% Although there was no significant decline in poverty and unemployment
  yet the plan was successful

six five year plan
 
1. The sixth Five year plan was started after terminating the roling plan (1978-83)
   started by the Janata Government in 1978 The basic objective of this plan
    was Removal of poverty
    The plan aimed at achieving economic and technological
    self-reliance generating employment
     and improving the quality of life of the poorest

2.   Annual growth rate of 5.7% was attained as against the targeted growth rate 5.2%
     Programme
      like Integrated rural Development Programme (IRDP)
     and  Minimum Needs Programme (MNP)
     Were  started during this plan
