RTGS system is a fund transfer system where transfer of money takes place from one bank
account to another on a real time and on gross basis
Settlement in real time means payment is done instantly and there is no wanting period during the
payment transctions
The transcactions are settled as soon as they are processed
Minimum limit of RTGS transactions is rupees two lakh i.e amount less than rupees 2 lakh
can not be sent through RTGS
There is no maximum limit on RTGS transaction
